Michelle started rowing at the age of 14
Michelle started rowing at the age of 14 for Capital Crew in Folsom, California. She was inspired by how much her older sister Jacqueline Sechser enjoyed rowing after her first season. During the offseason, Michelle enjoys cycling and races bikes for QCW p/b Cadence Cycling.
In 2008, Sechser won the Silver Medal in the lightweight division at the C.R.A.S.H.-B. Indoor Rowing Championships.
