Olivia Green is a professional British Pentathlete who is also the Girlfriend of well-known Pentathlete Joe Choong. Now the couple is Qualified for the Paris Olympics after winning the gold medal in the event at the 2020 Summer Olympics, as well as the world title in 2022 and 2023.

Olivia Green Qualified For 2024 Paris Olympics

Olivia Green was the first athlete from the University of Bath to meet the qualifying standard for the 2024 Paris Olympics. She won the bronze medal for Team Great Britain in the individual women’s event at the 2023 European Games held in Poland.

Olivia is also considered one of Britain’s top talents in Modern Pentathlon after placing fifth at last year’s World Championships.

Olivia Green has been dating her boyfriend Joseph Choong. Joseph is a 28-year-old British modern pentathlete who is also qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The Couple first posted a picture together on August 12, 2020.

Olivia Green’s boyfriend Joseph Choong was born on May 23, 1995, in South East London. He went to the private schools New Beacon and Whitgift School. He is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 172 pounds.

In the early stages of her career, Olivia Green competed in various Modern Pentathlon events, showcasing her various skills across the five disciplines.

Swimming: Olivia finished seventh in the 200-meter swim event.

Fencing: She had a strong performance in fencing, securing 20 wins and 12 losses, which placed her fifth in the overall standings.

Show Jumping: Olivia cleared the show jumping course without any penalties, but the tight and twisty nature of the course made it nearly impossible for her to complete the event within the time limit. As a result, she suffered 10 penalty points.

Laser Run: Despite the challenges in show jumping, Olivia bounced back and recorded her personal best time in the laser run event, which she won.

Individual Success: At the end of the season, Olivia came out as the leading British athlete in the individual women’s competition, finishing in an impressive fifth place. Interestingly, her boyfriend, Joe Choong, who is the reigning Olympic champion, won the individual gold medal at the same world championship event.

Olivia Green achieved her greatest individual success so far by winning the European Under-24 Modern Pentathlon championship. Becoming the European champion in the under-24 age category.

Olivia Green made history by becoming the first athlete from the University of Bath to achieve the qualifying standard required to compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Olivia Green represented Great Britain at the 2023 European Games held in Poland.
